A nice set of shots. For the most part I'm also happy with my GX85 (sort of in between your GX7 and GX8).

Hello grsnovi,

I am not familiar with the newer cameras. The model names are a bit confusing!

I don't see any bird close-ups in your examples and I've recently been drawn to taking those.

I mentioned that I now use my GX8 for wildlife. Here are a few photographed with my GX7 prior to getting the GX8:

Anna's hummingbird

Snowy egret

Black-crowned night heron

My reason for getting the GX8 was the larger sensor that provides some cropping room for wildlife. Interestingly, I made numerous tests using both cameras on the same subject and found no appreciable difference in the image quality - feather detail, for example. As long as there was no significant cropping!

I see you list an a7rii which (as FF) is something I've been pondering. Do you still have/shoot with that? What is your determination between using your various cameras?

I use my Sony system for landscapes, and street festivals at night, and indoors, such as museums.
