I know the camera is ok, as other lenses work fine. But on another body the lens does the same. Like the IS is going crazy, then the error message.

Interestingly this was a problem I had only once. I was using my M.Zuiko 45/1.8, and it had been on the camera at least a couple of hours. I remember that in the weeks leading up to this particular evening's use, I had stored the camera with a dumb adapter and manual lens on it. 
My best guess for my own problem (described above) was that the camera's contacts were not quite "springy" enough to give consistent contact with my AF lens after weeks without any lens contacts pressing against them. Since this happened I have always stored the camera with an AF lens on it. It could be a coincidence that the problem didn't repeat itself, but it might not be...
