X100V: Accidentally deleted all my photos thanks to the J-stick

I spent half a day in Melbourne taking photos with X100V, when I checked the photos on the way home, tried to delete one, then the accident happened.

After clicking the delete button during photo playback, the screen shows an option to delete a single frame, selected frame, and all frames, the joystick itself is used as both a confirm button and direction control, and when I clicked it, my click wasn't straight enough that it also does a direction click, and the option was switched to delete all photos.

I didn't realize it when it starts deleting, but as soon as the deletion takes more time than usual, I realize something terrible happened.

Fortunately, when I got home I recovered all the photos I took (there's a free opensource tool), here are two:
