Would a Nikon Z 50 give a new life to those old DX lenses?

Hey Paul,

The 18-200 VR1 and VR2 are basically identical.  They added a "lock" switch to prevent the lens from zoom creeping on the VR2.  And that's about it.

Congrats anyhow on your Z50 purchase.   Just try out all your old lens with the FTZ adapter and see how they work out for you.  Since you already have them anyways, there's no loss in experimenting and having some fun with them.
