new standard lens

For most of us, this 24-70 is the lens we most use in FF. The same could be said of the DA*16-50 lens in AOS-C.
This lens, in conjunction with the K1-IIm us excellent. Having used this for over a year now, I see no real issues. The colour and sharpness are excellent and while I do not profess to be anything other than an amateur photographer, I have no hesitation in recommending this lens to any Pentaxian. It also works well with my K-3 body. While I have several other HD DF lenses, this is the one habitually left on my K-1.
I have this combination but alas seldom use it as it is just too damn heavy, a beast. I find myself these days going to my Fuji X-T20 and XF 18-55mm for similar results at less than half the weight. That being said, if I'm planning a trip to a most scenic destination, I still use that combo. It captures the light and shadow space much better than my Fuji combo.
