There are a couple things I would try.
1. Try capturing more shadows. Trees cast interesting shadows on the ground and with the winter sun being lower in the sky you get nice shadows even mid-day. The first image is a good example. I like the shadow on the ground from that one.
2. You have a lens with a wide aperture, try opening up the aperture some and getting closer to the subject so you can through the background out of focus. Some of these shots have a busy background with the buildings in the background.
