Custom viewfinder compensator (DK-20)

Hello,

I have a not very mild astigmatism (not severe though), so looking through the viewfinder, even with the right spherical compensation, is not optimal.

Recently, I managed to scratch a right lens on my glasses, I imagine that the solution would be to change the lens. I was wondering, would there be a way to take the central part of the lens (undamaged) and put it somehow into a Nikon DK-20C -3 compensator? I have one at my Nikon D5100, which I use as my backup camera for D600. Has anyone tried something like that?

Thanks
