Can't access scanned images to attach to an email

Can't access scanned images to attach to an email

I have a Canon TR8520 Pixma printer/scanner that sends scanned images to a site called " Canon My Image Garden". Immediately after scanning, the image appears on the computer screen. When I try to attach it to an email, I can't find it. I follow the path shown: Desktop>Computer>Local Disk C>Users>Howard>My Documents but can't find the scanned image. Neither will a search for "My Image Garden" find it. I called Canon once and they directed me to a site where I found the image. Unfortunately, time passed before I had occasion to use it again and I forgot how it was done. Canon no longer services this model. Can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks in advance.
