I moved from the Df to the D750 expecting to improve the high ISO capability.  From a subjective perspective I was disappointed that the Df seemed to be better.  No tests were done, this was just my impression.  The Df has a convenient back button for focus (AF-On) that I used all the time instead of shutter press focus.  The D750 has a single button in the back meaning you have to give up the AE-L/AF-L button.   I enjoyed the ISO dial and the other dials on the Df body.  The sensor seems to be unique in its color rendition in a positive way.  It's a pleasure to use this camera.  The only thing I didn't like is the lack of the normal deep grip which makes it more like an old film camera.  You might relate well to the Df.  Also it's only 16 megapixels.

Good luck deciding,
Richard
