Hi all,

I saw many comparison between sony 16-55 vs tamron 17-70 but almost nothing between the 17-70 vs 18-135.

I have a6300 so no ibis, the sony 16 55 is then not in my mind (apart the price that is also prohibitive)

Tamron is stabilized and allows more reach, these are two strong plus for me.

I'm very pleased by my 18 135 in term of sharpness so I'm wondering if tamron is at least the same or even better.

Any advice is welcome

Mike

Tamron will certainly be, based upon my reading, equal to or better than the 18-135.  Put simply it is a decision between light weight greater reach versus more speed and better image quality.  Everyone seems to rave about the Tamron except for the 70mm end where it is reported to be less stellar.
