Why doesn't the image stabilization work with old MF M42 lenses on Z6?

From what I have read mirrorless cameras with in-body sensor stabilization can benefit of using old MF lenses with the IBIS working. I have a couple of M42 old MF lenses - Helios 44-2, Pentacon 135/2.8, Auto Revuenon 50/1.4, Jupiter 11 135/4 - that I use with adapter Z-mount to m42. Everything works fine - metering, auto Iso, etc, but the IBIS seems off when they are mounted on the camera. Is there a way I can have the IBIS working with them or not?
