Pure UV filter

I have a DSC-F828 that has a hot mirror that is easily moved out of the way. I have an IR filter and it works fine for that. I have UV filter on the way that also passes IR. That is going to be fun, but I also want to take pure UV photos. Is there a way to do this that doesn't cost as much as the camera? Is it as simple as putting a blue filter on over the UV filter? I am worried that it might block UV and/or might also pass IR.

This also raises another question, are all 4 types of pixels sensitive to UV? (The 828 has red, green, blue, and emerald - not just RGB). They do all seem sensitive to IR.
