Yes you would think that since the camera can take exposures at 1/1000 of a second it could measure exposure time that accurately.

I get photos of satellites and generate (through a long and complicated process) something called "observations" from them. Then I send those observations off for processing. The guy who processes them tells me that some of the observations appear to be off in time. Now I gotta figure out why.
