Panasonic LX100 VS Canon G1X III - anyone had them both?

I own an LX100 and an X-T2

Was recently thinking about my LX100 and how I wish so dearly it (even if the size would be slightly bigger) had an APSC sensor and an f2.8-4  lens.

This would needs be my only ever camera for a lot of things I do.

The m43 chip struggles significantly for DR even when slightly cloudy bless it, otherwise it;s a great all rounder camera that I take with me for non arts travel photos or social photography over anything else

The only thing like it in the compact fast fixed lens world (I have owned several RX100 models and know them well and do not like them) is the Canon G1X M3

But the reviews are so so as the lens is soft (apparently but I've learned to be weary of reviews as I own gear that does not match reviewer's experience or claims) and get's slow very quickly as you zoom in.....

Wonder if anyone has owned both.  Annoyingly dxo mark has not scored the sensor
