A few people mentioned this already: Tamron 28-200 & 17-28. I would add a light weight tripod to that setup.

A few years ago, I did a 3 1/2 weeks carry-on only trip to Italy (Milan to Naples, 10+ stops). I had a a6300 with a few lenses, but 98% of the photos were taken with 10-18 & 18-135 (APSC's). Back then, FF wasn't ideal due to the limited light travel lenses. The long end was pretty handy in Rome because of the geography (seven hills overlook the city). A tripod solved the issues with slower aperture for night photos; I also like starburst, and a tripod was a must.
