Re: For landscapes, 70-300 or 100-400?

I have the 24-105G and Sigma 100-400 and find that they work well together. I mostly use the 100-400 for landscapes and apart from the occasional misfocus in very flat light with busy backgrounds have had no problems. I now get over any misfocussing by using magnified view and manual focus. I use a cheap tripod adapter and all I have to do now is find a cure for atmospheric conditions which here in NW England are often full of rain/ haze/ snow. Good luck with your choice. Ken
