GH5 slider side movement jerky

I built a small short slider to use near fungi on close up and wide lenses. The movement towards the subject in AF is good if it is slow, same going back, macro 30mm f2.8 and 12-35 mm f2.8.

The problem  arises when doing side movement, it is not good, it shows some degree of jerkiness, tried all the below combinations  in 4K

10bit 25fps at 1/50 and 1/100 speed

8 bit  60fps slow motion at 1/125, 1/200/ 1,320, 1/500 to slow down to 25fps in FCPX

In panning it does not show it

No IBIS

Now I recall that when trying to do a time lapse with movement with a gimbal and G95, the result was equivalent. I attributed then that the movement of the gimbal (angle) was not small enough and caused the jerky movement. Can be the same problem or not, I dunno.

Any hint what to try next?

Thanks
