At some point GPU acceleration was not removing enough noise and also causing a faint grid mosaic in my output images, until I updated my GPU drivers and also reset the settings for Topaz Denoise.

Some more tips:

- I generally avoid presets because they oversharpen and don't do enough denoising. I generally start with the default 15-15 setting and adjust accordingly

- Avoid using clarity or textures in Lightroom before importing an image into Topaz, for me this is usually the cause of noise to be unintentionally preserved in out of focus bokeh areas.

- Low-light mode gives me some better results even for daylight (especially for flying birds where some areas are still in shadows), but I always drag colour noise reduction to 0.05 or higher because it also introduces chromatic aberration-like artifacts. What's unavoidable is this diagonal mosaic pattern that's noticeable if you adjust texture or clarity in the output TIFF file.
