Do Canon still trump the rest?

Hi all

Sorry for this question but I'm forced into making a quick decision so don't have time to do the research I wanted. My printer has packed up and due to the lockdown and homeschooling, need to get it replaced ASAP. I'm a hobby photographer and while I seldomly print pictures, I would still like the ability to produce a decent print (doesn't have to be fantastic). From what I've read, it seems that most own a Canon. Also, when I bought my last printer, Canon was pretty much the goto for a home photo printer. I just wanted to find out, is that still the case? It wouldn't be a dedicated photo printer but an all-in-one that hopefully can still produce a good photo print.

Thanks

Alan

I'm as creative as a brick, but I do love the physics of capturing light.
