ISO 6400...Extreme low light HIGH ISO P950 shots...SOOC..and DXO RAW converted
6

Went out today to local park I visit most days

Today after work was an overcast, no sun out day.

Good for my test.

Shoot at ...ISO 6400 (max) on the P950 , and see what the camera can do and compare if I edit the RAw in DXO PL 4

I never recall shooting at this low light conditions before.

I did today

Was nice to see Live subjects I can shoot. Hard to see them at first, lighting was so low

SOOC jpeg ISO 6400 (1/30th is lowest camera will choose when in burst mode)

Here's my take on editing this shot (from RAW):

DXO PS 4 Deep Prime RAw converted. Better, but not great.

Canadian Geese were there:

ISO 6400...again P950 is not able to shoot slower than 1/30th in burst mode. If I chose single shot, then more chance for blurry images, but so is the case at this slow shutter speeds Clearly I still don't make all the right choices when I am out shooting

DXO RAW converted. Better. Indeed better...but perhaps pushing the limits too much:)

The lighting was so dim....(how dim was it ..so dim that my D7500 was pushed to ISO 51,200..and that only gave me 1/100th shutter speed (f8)

Stay healthy
