EOS R: a couple of questions regarding using Fv and Custom modes

Question #1: When in FV mode, is it possible to swap the controls of the two dials? I find it much easier to operate the rear dial while using the EVF, so I would like the MAIN dial to switch between exposure types, and use the REAR deal to change values. The default camera function is the opposite.

Question #2: I have assigned the Custom modes to different FV settings. When the camera is idle and auto powers off while in C mode and auto powers back, I would like the camera to retain the last known settings just before it powers off, instead of resetting to the default C values. Is there a solution to this other than keeping the camera "always on", which would obviously further drain battery life.

The way I use the Custom mode, the exposure values aren't static, but simply a baseline starting point, so when I set my camera to C1, for example, then start tweaking the settings, I want those settings to be retained for that entire session. It's kind of annoying if after a few minutes of inactivity when I reach for my camera and all the settings have reset.
