Perhaps an annual question? 4k monitor recommendations by cost

Not just recommendations, but 'per price range', with some sort of quick summary of why it costs what it does.

So - given a starting point of 27 inch (and perhaps 32 in) what would be good (doesn't have to be best) recommendations in these price ranges:

1. under $500  (if it makes sense, perhaps a lower price limit to differentiate more?)

2. between $500 and 750.

3. $750-1000

4. $1000-1500

5. Over $1500.   (I can't see ever buying a monitor in this range, but perhaps hearing of one indicates a coming technology change).

Usage would be for photo and video editing, but I'm primarily interested stills editing.

I have two ASUS 4K 27 inch monitors right now, one of which has always had some issues. (It was a floor display.)   I do have a Spyder5 calibration puck and software.

I do NOT need commercial color accuracy.  I'm just a better-heeled hobbiest who can afford something a little better than I have now.  I paid about $450 each for my current monitors.  I would likely be happier with a 32 inch pair.
