Eos R touch at not working?

Hi there, I’ve assigned my touch bar to white balance, however after going through all of the lock functions, button assignments, Touch Bar lock controls, Touch Bar customization etc it doesn’t seem to be registering anything when i touch it? What can i do to make it start working?

There's a lock button on top. Have you toggled "Lock" off?

Also, this Touch Bar works the same way any touchscreen does, which means if you've got dry skin then it may not work very well. For example, it's winter and the tips of my thumbs are weirdly dry, which makes using my phone somewhat problematic because I have to make sure I press more with the pad of my finger rather than with the tip.

Have you disabled the M-Fn bar safety lock when customizing the bar?

Yep, like i said I’ve gone through all the lock buttons and functions
