I bought topaz gigapixel ai recently. I have only used it for limited comparisons. I have Photozoom also. From comparisons to Photozoom, I would use it for any super-large prints - above 20-30 or 32x48. My 32x48 with phtozoom (pre-Topaz) - look terrific from sharpness and detail. My 84-year old father-in-law was down on the floor with a magnifying glass he was so impressed. Next time I do some 20x30's or 32x48's I will try comparing the two.

Thanks for the post.

From what I've seen as I've been looking at that type of software, is one has to go easy or it looks like a google blur when you zoom too close to the ground. Goog now does that purposely.

Won't pass judgement until I tried it though. Their hype advertising looked a little cheesy however. But if you've got a clean image, it probably is the way to go to retain detail, as you're not trying to correct anything.

But I do believe that technology to do this has improved greatly. Interestingly, you can do some nice bokeh going to the extreme effects.
