This is mostly animals- think the Big 5. We want to see them before they are gone. Right now, the plan is to start in Cape Town and start from there. 10 day itinerary is Botswana/O-Delta, then to Chobe National Park and will finish at Victoria Falls. I know it’s a buttload of money, but we have the chance to go.

I want to thank all those who have posted with the great advice- it has allowed me to narrow my search. Beloved Spouse is allowing me to get a “forever” camera, so I’m looking at the EM1s. I have a line on a barely used Mark 1 for around $400, but might push that into a Mii.

Cameralabs.com is an awesome site- I might just buy the reviewer a cup of coffee!

If you push into the OM-D E-M1 II you won't regret it. Apart from some very advanced features it's basically a current Olympus flagship. The PDAF alone is worth it in my opinion.

Gordon is great. He has a photobook out, "In Camera". I bought it to support him after learning quite a bit from his videos.
