Drop frame XT-4 paired with GoPro Hero8/9 Black

Hi there,

I'm a bit confused with this setting on my XT-4 and I'm very new to editing videos on
DaVinci Resolve. Ultimately, I know there is a DF setting on my XT-4 and I can enable/disable it, and sync that with Resolve - that's no problem there. I record at 4K 60fps.

However, when recording with my camera plus using GoPro footage at 4K 60fps, despite GoPro saying they support Drop Frame, the footage I get is not using it, at least according to Resolve.

Essentially, Resolve tells me if I want to change my framerate/resolution when it simply wants me to disable the DF option. Hopefully, I'm making sense?

Ultimately, I want to know if I should be using the Drop Frame setting at all and if there's any use of it, for me editing videos for YouTube and not broadcast? Should I disable the XT-4 DF option, and the one in Resolve, so that footage of both GoPro and XT-4 'match' with DF disabled?

I should also mention that both cameras output 4K, 59.94. So with DF disabled, would I still be rendering at 59.34?

Sorry if this seems like a silly question - just baffled.
