Re: Hassalblad h2 or h3 worth it?

I would stay away....I shoot Hasselblad X now but never liked the H cameras much, the lenses aren't that great either but still not cheap, as far as backs go, you are looking at old backs and IQ that is in many ways (high iso, DR, resolution) inferior to FF mirrorless...

if you are trying to save money you are probably better off looking for a used GFX or X1D, these older systems often require older software, older connections which sometimes means a dedicated laptop, and considering that GFX and X1D is behind modern FF in speed and handling, these older H are on a different planet.....

if you want to shoot film, the H system is not really that flexible, film was always an afterthought for it, they were digital first, and could accept film.....there are a LOTS of other film based MF systems that accept older (or newer) DMF backs....

the Hasselblad 907x CFV50II combo is a great example of a modern digital solution that plays extremely well with V system, which in turn seems to have raised used V prices.....

you can get a used GFX or X1D with lens for 3-4000$ which will run circles around any old H combo in terms of IQ and handling.....
