I might suggest a vertical crop.  Many photographers are particular about cropping, so take this only as a suggestion for consideration.

In the process I cut off your watermark - sorry

For me it seems to help balance some of the negative space, and it seems more dynamic when the bird is flying into the scene instead of out of it.  Just a thought.
