Hey guys,
I read through your posts and I'm a bit confused by all the answers as I'm new to a bit more "advanced" photography in general.

I just bought a 430EX III-RT for my M6 Mark II and I realized I can't use it wirelessly with my camera?? I have to connect it to the hot shoe which means I can't control the light completely.

I watched this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_vF3J1ayww where the guy uses a "Radio trigger" at 21:40. Is there something similar I can buy for my M6 that will work to trigger my flash wirelessly?

Thanks

If you are still within the return window and can't afford the (costly) Canon radio trigger, you might want to look at a Godox trigger and either Godox TT685-C (more equivalent in size to a Canon 600EX RT) or TT-350-C - or their lithium powered equivalents.

You will get the Godox (or Adorama branded version if you live in the US) flash and trigger for half what you paid for the Canon flash.

It is a fairly major drawback of the M6 / M6 ii - that you can't use an EVF and hot shoe mounted flash simultaneously - unless you use the small internal flash to trigger the off camera flash (but you lose a fair bit of flash functionality.
