It is pretty interesting to see only 300 people own RP in dpreview even with that aggressive price point. Others would say a camera gear forum isn't representative to the real world sales and although it´s fairly true, it also gives some information about the healthiness of a product. If people talk of it, for example.

And with the 60D, I totally agree. It feels kind of strange that a XXD apsc cameras, in some ways, are intended to be more "professional" than the RP.

I don't believe the Gear List "I own it, I want it" numbers accurately reflect the number of owners. For instance, I have never clicked on any of those. RP currently 309; R5 is 360. Truly unbelievable as a real count. Those numbers often run in the hundreds before the cameras even ship.

I upgraded from an 80D to the RP. I feel the 80D is, as you say, more "professional", but the RP takes better pictures with less effort. The focusing is exceptional and will work in near darkness, and high ISO pictures are far more usable. The third control ring on the lens is a nice addition, too. I am delighted with the RP. It is hard to imagine how much better the R5/R6 are.
