Printing Dense Positive Transparencies with a P800...

I’m kind of shocked how incredible these transparencies are looking from my Epson SureColor P800.

I printed two copies on transparency film, one flipped horizontally, then I placed them emulsion to emulsion and aligned them with registration marks.

Compared to a couple Agfa RSX 6x7 slides, they look pretty damn great, right?? I mean, look at those blacks! There’s a bit of glare on those areas in the photo, but trust me, in person they are BLACK.

Next up I’m planning on glueing them together using some clear varnish made for protecting pigment based paintings. It should keep the two emulsions stuck together nice and tight.
