Yes, I realise that the 24-70 f2.8S hood is deeper due to the shading required for the longer focal length end of the zoom range as is the 70-200 f2.8S hood. I have all three lenses.

That said, being able to have the one filter set and hood across the three lenses would be cool!

It would be good due to the fact I can swap between 14-24 f2.8S and 24-70 f2.8S when shooting say waterfalls and just leave the filter attached to the hood of the 14-24 f2.8S. At a pinch for a quick load it could even be used on the 70-200 f2.8S.
