I think we all agree the RP was marketed as a product for mass. It was targeted to be the best selling product. With this camera, Canon gave the opportunity to join the FF experience to almost every average consumer. Following a similar strategy like the original 6D in the past (entry-level FF).

Do you think RP sales will blow up in the upcoming years, like again the 6D?

They are blowing them out right now in Canada for our boxing day sales. I was a canon dslr shooter that moved to mirrorless with Fuji. At the current price of 999$ Canadian or 785 US for the RP it is very tempting for me to grab one and the new RF 50mm 1.8 just to have a FF rig with a nifty fifty …………… just I think the wife will notice lmao.
