EOS R6 - NYE, Moon, Cats & Knives
16
Some images taken in JPEG last week and NYE with the EOS R6 - plus one from a few weeks prior. The EOS R6 performs nicely but that RF 85mm f/1.2L USM lens nails the focus EVERY single darned time. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't personally own the lens. My old EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM lens was never this reliable. I've even turned off Burst Mode and switched to Single Shot - because I'm not missing out by a "whisker". I still haven't bought a telescope but I'm close to doing so. I intend to mount the R6 to it for lunar photography when I do, but the EF 100-400mmL II lens is filling in nicely for the moment. I would normally take a shot like the moonshot below using an APS-C camera but wanted to see how two extenders would perform. I still had to crop the image.

Poor Zima. She was growling too. Reminds me of Anakin Skywalker
