No problem. For such a "boring" lens the 18-135mm gets a lot of use from me.

I don't think there are any boring lenses if they take great photographs. For me the "boring" lens is the one not being used to take photos.

Some "experts" will say any lens that is not f2.8 or better is garbage. 😜

But ya, most modern lenses will do well if you understand their limitations.

None of those "experts" earn a living from photography. I worked as a photographer for over 30 years for most major magazines, news agencies, advertising agencies and companies and have never turned up my nose at any quality equipment. There are a host of world-class 4.0 & 3.5-5.6 (and other) lenses. People who think you need specific equipment to make great photos are - not photographers.
