G9 too big?

Yet plenty of people bought the Pen F for it's design.

I doubt many dismissed it because they didn`t like the shape of the EVF eyepiece or that there was a dial on the front which worked only with JPGs

You're setting up a false dichotomy. Just because I express my preference on design doesn't mean I'm looking for 100% design satisfaction. Of course I will buy a camera that doesn't meet my satisfaction 100% - many of us do that. However, I'm just as entitled to express my opinion on design as the OP is entitled to express their opinion on camera size.

Did you ask the OP if the size of the G9 would stop him from buying a smaller camera if it was of any use to him? I don't think you did.
