Not uncommon to see this when shooting directly towards a bright light source like the sun...

The camera image sensor surface is highly reflective and the incoming light is bouncing off the sensor and reflecting back towards the lens element. The grid you see is the etched pattern on the camera sensor.

Be careful shooting directly towards the sun. The focused light can fry spots on the image sensor.....
