Just out of interest, have you been doing more macro photography since the pandemic restricted travel?

I certainly have; my macro lens has never been used so much.

YES. This was the year I FINALLY got a real macro lens after drooling over one for years.  I grabbed the Tamron 90 2.8 (the latest model) for my Canon RP and it's my favorite lens in my kit now. Takes amazing macro for sure. But since it's much harder to justify getting closer to people now, that 90 is more like my 50 now. I still get great people and lifestyle shots with it. And I also have a crop sensor body so on that it turns into a 140mm+ for even more distance.

Always was fascinated with good macros and I'm so glad to have mine now. It'll be a lifelong companion in my kit hopefully.
