Eye-AF: Canon RP vs M6 mark II - performs as good?

Hi All,

Searched the web a bit, but couldn't find such specific side-by-side comparison.

Question:

Is eye-AF on Canon M6 mk2 (at least) as good as on Canon RP?

Background:

Using M6 (the original aka mk I) as well as an RP - hobby-only, no commercial work

Eye-AF on RP considerably increased my keeper rate of FF shots, especially with the shallow DOF lenses (used for family photos/kids' portraits), but weight and portability made me carry it less frequently than I'd like, so even though RP results are great, most of the time I'm missing great shots simply due to not having a camera with me

M6's on contrary has fantastic footprint which effectively performs better its job as a tool to capture memories and of good quality

I'm considering selling RP and most of FF lenses altogether and upgrading M6 to the mk2 version, only... is its eye-AF as good/fast?

Unfortunately where I live, it's a bit tricky to try out the mk2 in a nearby store, in the current climate.

ANSWER:
Canon EOS M6 Canon EOS M6 II Canon EOS RP
