I've always thought those complaining about FF weight are wimps. But either modern FF lenses are much heavier, or the ten years since I last carried them up hills have taken their toll, because grinding up some of the long hills around here, the RP with two decent f4 lenses feels like a big bag of heavy rocks.

Ha ha ha, yes, been there and done that, too.

I had an RP for a year and a half. Small camera, but yeah, the lenses....

After about a year using the RP as my primary, this spring I took out the GX8 while trying to decide if I should sell it. I still had a few M43 lenses left (sold most but saved a couple in the switch to the RP).  After shooting a bunch of Peonies with it, and being knocked out by what I was getting with it, vs still arguing with the RP to capture what I wanted, I realized that for what I was gaining in terms of FF sensor advantages, I was losing more in terms of actually being comfortable working with the system than that "FF goodness" made up for.

So, after another 6 months of trying to decide what to do, and buying a couple of nice lenses for the GX8, I decided to go back to all-in with M43.  Got a GX9 as my second 20MP body, and I'm good.

The only area that I miss FF in is low light shooting, and I don't do enough of that to worry about right now, so to heck with it.  Not carrying a bag of bricks lenses is a really, really, big deal, and if lighter makes me get better shots (and it does, for me), then M43 it is.

And, the IQ of the 20MP M43s is close enough in decent light for me to not sweat it.  The 16MP bodies were not, but the 20MPs are pretty good....
