Depends on target glass ------>

It depends on the glass you want to use ..... if you`re after using small primes then maybe an EM10-4 or GX9 would be better suited, likewise I can`t think of a better camera sizewise for the 12-32 pancake than its original kit camera the GM1 but if you`re using lenses the size of the 12-60 F3.5-5.6 or larger , the G9 isn`t large in the least (I found it overwhelmed the GX9 , more suited to a GX8 or G80 at smallest) , in fact due to the G9 + 12-60 being feather light compared to APS_C DSLR setups like the Nikon D7200 , a very light rig indeed .. for use with lenses which are moving towards large like the 100-400 , Oly 12-100 Pro etc , a cam the size of the G9 and EM1-II is IMO essential, and yes I did use the 12-40 PRO on a GM5 ------- ONCE .

BTW for the record, I`m a skinny 5'10", built like a woman and with "pianists" hands too so not exactly a bear with sausages for fingers and I run around all day with FF rigs for work , have done since when cameras actually WERE heavy and ungainly (try a 1DS MK1 & 2 + Ls - the D850 rig is a feather after that - a G9 or EM1-II + 12-60 comically light) I can understand hand sizes and fat grips, even the larger GH5 has less grip girth , my long fingers help I guess.,

Size comparison as a bit of reality check - remember that the D850 is far from the largest DSLR

D850 - RX10-III - G9 - G5

Note the heavyweight (nearly a Kilo) Sigma 24-105 F4 ART on the D850 bulking it up and that the RX10-III is actually bigger than the G9 (feels heavier too) , the G5 on the end is the smallest G series body with a proper grip
