Despite it often being a widespread expectation when new film sims appear, Fuji have literally only ever updated older cameras with a new film sim once - some years ago, when they introduced the very first “new” sim Classic Chrome.

And given the most recent (huge) X-T3 update that lacked Classic Neg, I have zero hope for this to ever happen again.

From a developer's point-of-view, it's probably very had to incorporate newer film sims into older bodies, and impossible to properly calibrate new film sims to an older sensor.

I can see why Fuji chooses to spend their R&D dollars on autofocus instead.
