The Canon M6 MKII is spectacular in every sense except where it comes to shooting with a Flash which is basically a total disaster for outdoor photography with a external flash for fill. In daylight you need the EVF to see what you are shooting as the display screen is not daylight viewable.

Hasn't been my experience.  Maybe you should check your screen brightness setting?  I've tried the EVF many times, but far, far, prefer the back screen.  Why?  Easy touch focus.  In bright sunlight, especially with the sun to my back, is the view perfect?  No.  It's washed out, but works fine for framing the shot.  Besides, I'd never use the viewfinder view or back screen view to adjust exposure or color.  We have other ways to do that now.

With just a small amount of experience, I became comfortable enough with the rear screen that I don't even carry the EVF with me anymore.

Give it a chance.  The easy solution to your problem is right in front of you.
