Jupiter and Saturn December 2020 conjunction
7

Two days after their Great Conjunction (the first one in 400 years), Jupiter, (up left) and Saturn (low right) still appear close to each other.
Here, I managed to shoot Saturn in more detail than before, as well as some Jovian moons, like Ganymede (below and right to the planet) as well as Io and Europa (up left) which appear as one due to a minor, brief conjunction, too.
For this, I discarded the use of the OGPS-1 module, as its lowest exposure time of 10 sec resulted to delivering overexposed photos of the planets and I shot in a wide open aperture, low sensitivity and short shutter times.
Lens: HD Pentax 55-300 mm F/4-5.8ED WR at 300 mm. Slighlty more than 100% crop.

Thanks for looking and I wish a Merry Christmas to you all.
