A7C first impressions and AWB "issues"?
3

So I finally pulled the trigger on an A7C and Samyang FE 45mm f1.8.

My first test shots indoors of my kid was just WOW.. Low light indoors and amazing quality iso from 3200-5000.

Autofocus eye/face seems really good but need to play some more to understand, it jumps from face to face and that is not how video reviews say it is supposed to lock on a chosen face.

However the biggest surprise was how bad the AWB is performing in certain indoor light conditions with heavy yellow/redish tint. I tried the sames scenes with my Fujifilm X-T330 and white balance is spot on - never ever had issues with the fuji and white balance. I guess I expected Sony's latest and greatest to take care of white balance and I can compose and shoot.

Anyone has some advice to work around this? Selecting incandescent was a lot better but not perfect.
