I just upgraded from the X-T2 and noticed the shutter button on the X-T4 is much looser and softer. This this noticeable to the point where I'm not confident if I'm half pressing the shutter button or full depressing it to take a photo.

I did a Google search and not much has come up for this issue specifically for the X-T4. I'm curious if any other owners have experienced this.

The button on mine wobbles within the orifice quite a bit, now that you prompted me to look. edit: I may have noticed it initially, but forgot all about it.

Interesting. The best way I can describe it is that the shutter depth to take a photo is much shorter than my X-T2 and X-E2. Where in those two cameras you can feel the "click" when taking a photo. Still can't tell if this is by design or an error.

I think it's by design. It was noticed when first released on the forum here, but most came to the conclusion in no time they got used to the difference and even forgot about it (no, not just me [g]).  Not everyone, I'd wager, but that's my general recollection.

It's possible mine is out of spec, but so far it's not be troubling and I don't mind that gamble vs. shipping it off.   YMMV
