More pixels better than fewer

I am planning to change my 10 year old camera system from 4/3 (12 mp) to ff.

If I went for a Nikon Z6 I would have 4 times the sensor size and twice the number of pixels, so each pixel would be twice the size of what I have now = more dr and less noise.

If I went for a Z7 I would have 4 times the sensor size but almost the same pixel size = greater fine detail.

I shoot mainly landscapes but occasionally I want to photograph moving objects like bif.

So what is more important in your opinion, pixel size or number of pixels?

Pixel size is quite irrelevant.

More pixels -> more detail

Larger sensor -> potential for better image quality

For landscapes Z7 would be better than Z6.
