Taken moments ago on the Leelanau Peninsula, Michigan, USA.

Sunlight broke through these suddenly menacing clouds, so I ran outside with my X-T100 and 15-45mm lens and quickly snapped this. I'm always looking for that "rarified light," as my first photographer teacher often encouraged me to do.

The light/clouds only lasted a few seconds before the moment vanished, but I caught it.

A lovely scene, lighting is part of it.

It would be even better (IMO, naturally), if the it were perspective corrected to take out the inward lean. Even as it is - well seen. :)

Cool clouds with contrasting tones. I like how you framed it with the branches at the top.

It's for having the sunlight with a brooding sky featured that, for me, gives it that hook (lighting wise). A moment which won't pass exactly like that, there, ever again. :)
