The one stop advantage for some reason works perfect between f16 up to f1.8. With a recent rest I got about 1/25 shutter-speed and with the booster I got 1/42 under the same settings (aperture / ISO) and light conditions.

With faster apertures (F1.4 / F1.2) there seems to be a loss of light somehow. there is simply more light decay. Not sure how and how!?
