85mm 1.4 RF Art (half the size and weight of current version)

It's more realistic to expect it to be bigger and heavier. Making it smaller and lighter on top of the mount change means a totally different and likely much lower quality lens.

Did you see the Sony version?

The HSM versions seems the same

You could try not to ignore there's a Sigma 85mm f/1.4 available for the Sony mount at half the weight of the Canon EF version being as good as if not better compared than that Canon EF version. So yes, it's realistic to expect the same difference and quality as it already exists in a smaller and lighter package.

There are two Sony mount lenses. The HSM is the same weight and size. Isn't it?

So that HSM one, although existing,  isn't relevant for the question if it "would be" possible to make a smaller and lighter lens without getting a much lower quality. The other one is. That answers the question with "yes".
